New MANRS Badge Available for Download

March 6, 2015 by Megan Kruse Leave a Comment

MANRS Logo 300x300Today, we are proud to debut a new badge that all Routing Resilience Manifesto / MANRS participants can use to help spread the word that they are helping make the Internet a safer place.

Last year, we worked to get a few (nine, to be precise) founding participants on board and launch the initiative and the accompanying “Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS)” document by November. This year, we’ll continue working with network operators to further improve the global Internet routing system and integrate best current practices related to routing security and resilience.

To do so, the goal this year is not to sign up as many operators as possible (at least not yet!), but to work within regional communities to help MANRS gain recognition and to help those local operators understand and get on board with the effort’s objectives. We are looking for network operators who take security and resilience seriously and have already implemented the Actions outlined in MANRS. We are looking for leaders whose reputations will motivate others to step up and do the same.

We hope you like the new badge, and more importantly, we hope you start seeing it on lots of leading websites of network operators in your region. Is it on your website yet? If not, you can sign up now to show your support for MANRS and then download the badge yourself in a variety of sizes.

All badges and logos are Creative Commons licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported so you are free to use and distribute as you see fit. If you would like the image in another size or file format, please contact us.

Thanks, and happy (and safe and resilient, of course) downloading!
