Announcing New MANRS Policy Fellows

July 14, 2020 by Megan Kruse Leave a Comment

The new MANRS Fellowship Program offers highly motivated individuals an opportunity to be exposed to the mission and work of the MANRS initiative in international development. MANRS Fellows work in one of three categories: training, research, or policy. Last week, we announced the new MANRS Research and Training Fellows. Today, we’re proud to announce the selected Policy Fellows.

The selected Policy Fellows are:

  • Paola Perez (Center for Women in Technology)
  • Sami Salih (Saudi Telecom Company, STC)

The Selection Committee thanks all 400+ candidates for applying and congratulates all the selected Fellows! View all the MANRS Fellows here. Each Fellow must sign and return a Fellowship Agreement, and we have alternates in case any of the selected candidates cannot participate, so this list may change.

The Internet Society supports this program as part of its work to reduce common routing threats and establish norms for network operations. We look forward to improving routing security around the world together.
