Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Filtering of Route Announcements JPIX has deployed IRR-based filtering for IX users on JPIX route servers. Major IRRs are available as source IRR.
  • Action 2-1: Offer assistance to its members to maintain accurate routing information in an appropriate repository (IRR and/or RPKI) JPIX assists our IX users to keep their routing well-mannered. Therefore JPIX offers BGP/Routing seminars (incl. Hands-on seminars), and provides the latest information in our users meeting every year.
  • Action 4: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination between network operators JPIX provides mailing lists for communication among our IX users and announcement from JPIX to them, also user list on our user portal website.
  • Action 5: Provide monitoring and debugging tools to the members JPIX provides looking glass on our user portal website. Our users can execute a variety of BGP commands on our route servers.
