Implementation of MANRS Actions

  • Action 1: Prevent propagation of incorrect routing information Outbound and inbound prefixes are filtered using automated prefix-lists based on IRR data, and RPKI ROV is implemented to drop prefixes with invalid origins.
  • Action 2: Prevent traffic with spoofed source IP addresses Alwyzon enforces uRPF on all interfaces, both physical and virtual ones.
  • Action 3: Facilitate global operational communication and coordination An up-to-date set of contact details can be found at: http://as40994.peeringdb.com/
  • Action 4: Facilitate validation of routing information on a global scale Alwyzon uses IRR data to publicly document routing intent, fully implemented RPKI ROAs for their IP space, and ROV for route filtering.
  • Action 5: Encourage MANRS adoption Alwyzon encourages customers to adopt MANRS, and to play their part in keeping the internet secure. All customers are required to maintain IRR data and RPKI ROAs.
  • Action 6: Provide monitoring and debugging tools to the peering partners Alwyzon provides a public Looking Glass at alwyzon.com/lg. Further insights can be requested per email.
